“We did not want to miss out!” Phil and Iona’s Journey to Attwell
Phil and his wife Iona, along with their daughter Zoya, have been proud Attwell residents since 2017, after a long journey to find their forever home.
Originally, Phil and Iona always dreamed of living nearby Caroline Springs with its beautiful lake, boulevards, restaurants, and relaxed lifestyle. However, the area’s growing house prices made it seem like their dream was slipping away.
“We looked at other places nearby but didn’t have luck there,” Phil explained. “Then we heard about Attwell, and I was determined not to miss out, so I drove there every day after work to check for any signs of the project launching.”
Drawn to Attwell for its closeness to Caroline Springs and the area’s promising growth, Phil spent weeks making daily visits to the area to ensure his family did not miss their opportunity.
“I was very eager and did not want to miss out. So, I kept visiting almost every day.”
With his heart set on Attwell and it’s affordably priced Deanside House and Land Packages, as well as its proximity to all their friends, family, and the leafy, peaceful lifestyle he and Iona had long dreamt of, Phil’s persistence eventually paid off with him and Iona being lucky enough to purchase their perfect lot as part of Attwell’s first ever stage release.
“We purchased our land lot for what now feels like an absolute steal given how much land values in the area have increased,” Phil said.
“The Attwell community and wider area have also only continued to get better, with immaculate maintenance of the reserve, wetlands, and parks, as well as significant investment into infrastructure improvements, and plenty of new businesses opening nearby all the time.”
Phil and Iona have even gone on to introduce many of their friends to the community, who have gone on to purchase their own land in Attwell too.
“We have a lot of our friends living in the same vicinity now. Within walking distance too, so we don’t even need to use the car, which we love” Phil shared. “It’s like a whole community living together. We’re extremely happy with how everything has worked out for us.”
