Now is the time to kick start your pre-winter fitness routine and The City of Melton has made it easy – on Thursday, 5 April, it’s the official Active April Fun Day!
As part of the Victorian Government’s ongoing commitment to promote healthy and active lifestyles, the Active April’s initiative aims to inspire Victorians of all ages to get moving. As a major supporter of the movement, The City of Melton’s Active April Fun day aims to bring the community together, promote healthy and happy lifestyles and get families motivated.
Making for a fantastic neighbourhood meet and greet, the Active April Fun Day is the perfect way to get yourself and the whole family active, whether it’s a simple stroll the neighbourhood or engaging in one of the fun-filled activities available on the day.
There will be a range of activities on offer suitable for children six months and over, of all abilities. Activities will include:
- Mini Golf
- Giant Games
- Sack Races
- Hula Hoops
- Crafts and more!
Pack a picnic lunch and plenty of water and you will be set for a fun and health-filled day out with the family.
The event will be held at Navan Park, Centenary Avenue, Melton West, 3337.
